You will love exploring this website, a library of stories told by celebrities and others, stories about the difference God has made in their lives. So far I watched Jason Castro, Bethany Hamilton, Scott Hamilton and Kathy Ireland talk openly and honestly about how they came to Christ and why knowing Him better is the most important thing...more important than fame, more important than music, more important than surfing, more important than skating and more important than modeling.
This website is a breath of fresh air in a world filled with people who care only for material things and being praised and noticed. These are people who have it all, the fame, the glory, the riches, the admiration, and they've managed to find faith in something bigger. My favorite is Jason Castro. His testimony is quite moving.
But don't miss Scott Hamilton's story.

TASE CRAZY COPS
Only a coward without muscles would feel the need to tase a 12-year-old girl. This is happening more and more as police overstep their boundaries. If I were a police officer, I would be embarrassed if I tased a young girl. But police defend their actions in such situations, which clearly sends the message that police can do whatever they want regardless of the circumstances. The link below has many more examples of tase crazy cops.

A CHICKEN SANDWICH DIVIDES A NATION
First the goal was to get rid of God in all public places. Now the goal is to silence Christians who defend God's word. Why is it that everyone is allowed to have an opinion except Christians. We are supposed to tolerate everyone else and their beliefs and behavior, but they can't tolerate a Christian's point of view. They call us bigots when in fact they are the bigots.
This is what I would tell a homosexual today. If you think your actions are okay, then go and be at peace with yourself and your partner. Why do you need to try so hard to convince everyone else that your lifestyle is acceptable? When I have a clear conscience, I don't really care what other people say or think.. I'm able to relax. I don't waste my time fighting with anyone who disagrees with me. So why can't they just relax if they have a clear conscience?

FLUORIDE LOWERS IQ, PROMOTES TUMORS
My daughter and I had a dental appointment this week and we were given three free samples of toothpaste. I was told that the toothpaste has high levels of fluoride in it but "not so much that you have to worry about swallowing it."
Oh how comforting! Thanks for telling me that the poison in my toothpaste isn't so intense that I have to be careful not to swallow it. That makes me feel so much better!
And when we got home, the first sound we heard was the thud of three boxes of toothpaste hitting the trash can. Why are we so stupid that we keep buying this stuff. Get some coconut oil, baking soda, and mint flavoring and make your own.

KEEPING IT COOL
At our last family picnic, my mom brought a mini blow-up pool to keep the cold foods cold. It was small enough to fit on the table and I thought it was very clever.

SOUNDS YUMMY!
I made a batch of peach jam this week and I wish I would have had this recipe. Peach barbecue sauce sounds wonderful. I might have to buy another bushel of peaches and get to work on this. Who wouldn't want to receive homemade barbecue sauce as a gift? I have a wonderful recipe for salsa chicken that calls for apricot jam, so I know how good the addition of peach would be to a barbecue sauce.

CAN YOU READ THE SIGNS OF THE TIMES?
by Jim Carvell
Jesus and the Apostle John both
give the same accounts of judgments that the world must go through (MT 24: 4-8 & LUKE 21: the birthing pains) & (REV 6:
1-8 the seal judgements or Four Horsemen ) These judgments appear to be happening now . They are global control, wars, rumors of wars,
famine, pestilences(diseases and plagues from beasts),earthquakes in various
places ,and inflation on foods such as wheat and barley. All are in the news and
increasing as birthing pains every day.
In ( EZK 14: 12-23 ) Ezekiel prophesied all these things as severe
judgements on the land ( world or Nations ) whose trespassing (sins) are
grievous and persistent to the Lord... I believe He does however give a hope of
deliverance to those living in and through these judgements in this present
times. By naming NOAH, DANIEL and JOB in this prophecy four times as an
example of being able to deliver themselves by their own righteousness . For the
Lord said therein shall be left a remnant that shall be brought forth , both
sons and daughters. I believe both Jew and Gentile, both as in Ezekiel's day
as today..
"Now is the time" each individual must be in right-standing with the
Lord . For all these judgements are present and speeding up to the time of the
Great Tribulation, Day of the Lord or Jacobs trouble, (Christ's return). Lets be
honest, you would need to be living in a sealed off bubble not to recognize
these severe events happening every day. Seek the Lord and make your way right
in trusting only Jesus as savior of the world...

OUR CULTURE OF DEATH AND THE BATMAN SHOOTING
We as a nation – as a people – have turned our backs on God. We have
rebelled against Him and have forgotten that it was He and He alone who
gave us 200-plus years of prosperity, unprecedented in world history.
We have left Him, so why are we surprised He’s leaving us? We have said, “We don’t need you, leave us alone.”
And so He has.

WE LET THEM TWIST THE CONSTITUTION
America needs to wake-up..... These people and organizations who are
playing games with the Constitution and it's true meaning are out of
hand..Church we better wake-up...
Article 1 ( Amendment to the constitution) states: Congress shall make
(no law) respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free
exercise thereof ...
Prohibiting the free exercise thereof is self explanatory..... the word
respecting seams to be the problem.. the word respect means to hold something in
high regard ( meaning the establishment of religion ) the word also means to
refrain from interfering with (meaning the establishment of religion )
The phrase( separation of church and state ) is not in the United States
Constitution. Everyone by now should know that Thomas Jefferson made this
statement in a letter to the Danbury Baptists in 1802. I believe what he was
referring to in the word separation is held within the word (respecting), which
means to refrain from interfering with, thus establishing a natural wall of
separating State from people, people from State, concerning religious LAWS.
The big problem with people who reject religion, particularly Christianity,
is that this amendment states: Congress (thus representing the whole USA) shall make
no LAW. In other words, Congress is to mind its own business regarding
religion and not to prohibit the practice of it..or make any laws that would
interfere with it.
This amendment says nothing about prohibiting an individual government representative or official from practicing religion openly. This amendment
applies to them, as well as any individual American ... We who believe in GOD
and Prayer need to pray for these people to have their eyes opened to the use
of free exercise thereof... And to stop trying to prohibit religion within our
government.
I do believe we need God more now than at any other time in history, since the establishment of this Constitutional amendment. Click the link below for the article that prompted the above comments which were written by my husband, Jim.

A SUMMER DAY IN JULY
Whenever I see photos of beautiful gardens, I long to have one of my own. It's not that I'm afraid of the work involved, but I fear that my efforts will fail since I've never been good at gardening.
Remember this is the girl who got excited that the herbs she planted actually sprouted and grew into herbs. I love to see things grow out of the ground. It simply amazes me that we can plant a seed and in a little while we'll be enjoying whatever that seed becomes: colorful fragrant flowers, juicy succulent berries or bright green herbs that add wonderful flavor and fill the kitchen with a satisfying aroma.
God has given us so many simple pleasures and summer is the best time to indulge in them. Today I went for a walk and took in the beauty of the day. I marveled at the blue sky and thanked God for the blessing of a recent rain that brought the corn fields back to a deep green and a better posture.
As I walked on, I saw a doe strut slowly across the road on her way to enjoy a bite of corn from the farmer's field. A butterfly fluttered past me. A rabbit watched me intently as I walked by, knowing just how close I could get before it scurried off into the safety of the corn field. I watched the birds on the phone wires above me as they sat together for a while chatting and then flew their separate ways.
Every day these things go on around me that I'm unaware of. I take them for granted. But today I was determined to really see and appreciate what God has created for our enjoyment. Life is beautiful, especially on a summer day in July.

TOXIC CANDLES POLLUTING YOUR HOME
I wish I would have read this sooner, I always play hostess on Thanksgiving and I bought some Dollar Store candles for each table one year. Within a few hours of burning them I had a terrible headache. My sister-in-law suspected the candles. She, too, wasn't feeling well since I had lit the candles. We don't think about these things, but anything we bring into our homes should be scrutinized. Make sure your candles are safe. Read the article below.

I hesitated to post this because this guy sugar coats nothing. His words are harsh but there's much truth in what he says. These things are really happening. If you're offended by anything he says, do your own research and learn more. He's trying to wake America up to what's happening while we sleep.

MY INSULT OR YOUR FRUSTRATION?
Have you ever said something out of your own frustration that was heard and received as an insult? The words just tumbled out because week after week you had been dealing with this same area of frustration. This is what's been weighing heavy on my mind lately. How easy it is for me to say something and have it be taken as an insult.
I recently walked away from a volunteer position because there wasn't much for me to do once I got there. Night after night I'd drive home wondering why I bothered to make the trip. Often having no more that two hours sleep the night before, I wondered why I was taking time away from my family to drive to another town and volunteer to do nothing but chat with the other volunteers. I was frustrated. So I said something to vent my frustration.
When I say something that hurts someone, I feel regret. I often try to make it better by sending a card, which I did in this case. But I think even my card wasn't well-received. For weeks I was bothered by this. I had to find a way to put it to rest. Do you know how I did it, how I managed to find peace in that situation? I forgave myself. I did what I could to make it right (sent the card) and then I forgave myself.
Every day we say things that could potentially hurt someone. Some people intentionally throw insults. But I believe most people don't intend their words to be hurtful. I believe we need to give others the benefit of the doubt more often. My experience has taught me to offer grace when I feel insulted by others. Because I don't really know what's going on in their lives. What I take as an insult could be just their own frustration coming to the surface.

UNDESERVED LOVE
Here's a topic many women can relate to. Yesterday I was mad at my husband because it seems that every time I ask him to do something for me ( which isn't often) he makes me feel like I'm asking for the world. I'll get an irritated glance and a comment like, "I wasn't planning to have to do that today." I asked for two favors yesterday and both times he fussed and complained when in my mind he should have responded with a glad heart eager to help his wife.
I managed to keep my mouth shut, but in my mind I rehearsed a lecture about how we were put on this earth to serve others and if we can't do it without grumbling and complaining, then we have a long way to go in our Christian walk. I wanted to say to him, "Cant you do anything without fussing? Have you ever in your life said to someone, 'Yes, I'd be happy to do that for you'."
Sometimes I do feel like my husband doesn't deserve me. He might feel the same about me at times. We all disappoint others and we all can be selfish at times. Here's some advice about giving undeserved love.

Greg Evensen -- America Died While we in the Church Slept
GREAT ARTICLE. SO WORTH THE TIME IT TAKES TO READ IT. SO TRUE!

A MAN IS KNOWN BY HIS ACTIONS
"Obama
took an oath to protect and defend the Constitution, and yet whether he
is a Muslim or not, he has undeniably gone around the world promoting
Islam and Sharia (Islamic law)." Since then, he has continued to do
so. He keeps fueling the impression that he is a Muslim by his actions,
which have been consistent. He killed Osama and Awlaki? Sure...but he
has never moved against pro-sharia Islamic supremacists. Quite the
contrary.
By their fruits ye shall know them, and so we know him. The left media should stop beating people up for being logical.
