Heaven Is For Real is the story of little Colton Burpo who came down with stomach pains and a high fever. His appendix has burst and he goes in for emergency surgery. While on the operating table, little Colton has a vision where he is taken to Heaven and “meets Jesus”. When he awakes he tells that story, as well as conversations he says he heard while being operated on. His father declares this to be “a miracle”, and the book was written.
