Will You Tolerate "THE NEW NORMAL?" John Whitehead
We are being manipulated and the Deep State is enjoying it. This man, a constitutional lawyer, talks about the constitutional nightmare planned for us in "The New Normal." If you don't see the push for global government in all of this, you are blind.

Martin Armstrong – President Has Power to Reopen Country
The devastation economically with this shutdown is unbelievable. This is a deliberate intentional move to harm the economy. Facebook is acting more Stalinistic by deleting posts that reveal the truth. Facebook is suppressing our freedom of speech and freedom of assembly.

Global Pandemic PLANNED? ID2020, Vaccines & Crypto!
Did someone in Hollywood warn us about the Coronavirus pandemic by making the movie, Contagion? The similarities to the movie are disturbing. But that would mean this pandemic was planned. Could people be that evil? And what would be their motives? Money? Control?

FOUR WAYS TO WISDOM
By Danelle Carvell
I have a bold mouth. And lately I feel the need to speak out. But I had a question recently that I needed answered. The question was, "Am I lacking humility by speaking out and should I continue to speak out even if my opinions are uncomfortable to people that I love?"
The backlash that I'm getting from my opinions about the coronavirus craziness so far is that I'm being hurtful, selfish, heartless and embarrassing. So I asked my husband what scripture might lead me to an answer about when to stay silent and when to speak up, and how do I know that my opinions line up with God's way of thinking?
Hubby has an undergraduate diploma in Advanced Biblical Studies from Liberty University. He led me to the perfect answer, which was found in this wonderful book, the ESV Study Bible. What I share below is a combination of the exact wording in the Bible and my own paraphrasing, along with my personal opinions. I'm not wasting my time with quotation marks.
On page 2537 there is a section titled, Developing a Framework for Ethical Decision Making. It can help any Christian who is struggling with this same issue. First of all, I do not believe that Jesus calls us to be silent in the face of injustice. Those who use scripture to defend the idea that we need to obey our government no matter what are not considering the many examples in the Bible of people who challenged authority in order to achieve God's purpose-- people such as Esther and Moses.
"Just as man would not surrender everything he owns to a slothful neighbor, a man would not surrender all his rights to a tyrannous government," is stated on page 105 of the book, To Keep or Not to Keep, Why Christians Should Not Give Up Their Guns. Once a government begins taking our rights from us, we are not expected to stand down. And our civil liberties are not subject to change when pandemics and natural disasters strike. Our forefathers did not put any stipulations in the constitution that allow for the surrendering of freedom based on fear.
Many times a government will stray from its purpose and become oppressive. It might even use a pandemic as an excuse to force suffocating restrictions onto people, using a public health crisis as an opportunity to seize power. Moses leading his people out of bondage in Egypt is a clear example of God blessing a people's rebellion against oppressive authority. He would not have parted the Red Sea if he didn't approve of them escaping oppression and seeking freedom.
To say that I'm not willing to give up my freedom for your fear sounds harsh to someone who supports wearing face masks right now. I view the forced face mask as oppression. You view it as "caring for your neighbor." But if I have peace about my convictions, and I understand and obey the teaching of the entire Bible with regard to the situation, then I am on track with the overall goal in making ethical decisions.
To know if my decision is right or wrong I must do four things.
Pray- All decisions must rely on prayer for God's wisdom. I pray for holy spirit-led discernment on what to believe and what to share with others. When I get it wrong, I feel a discomfort in my spirit and I make changes accordingly. When I feel peace about something I know I'm in line with God's way of thinking.
Study the Bible- Search for biblical passages or examples that have relevance for the situation. This is so easy to do with so much information at our fingertips. If you can't find it in the Bible, Google it.
Study the Situation- Gather and access relevant information. A wise decision often can't be made until the facts become more clear, so be patient before jumping to conclusions and shooting your mouth off. (I learned this one the hard way.)
Study the people involved- Try to understand the character, motives and values of the people involved or affected by the decision to be made, including any relevant background, personal habits and characteristics, motivations and relationships as well as special interests that may be influencing the reactions of each relevant party. I often see the same kind of people disagreeing with me. And, at times, their disagreement is the very thing that tells me I'm on the right track.
Wisdom is the skill of combining the above factors so as to rightly apply the Bible's teachings to real people in real-life situations in such a way that one is truly thinking God's thoughts and sharing God's thoughts. If I am praying for wisdom, I have to trust what God is telling me. If I ask for holy spirit-led discernment, then I have to trust the holy spirit, not my friends, not my family.
So if your opinions make people uncomfortable and you are doing the above four things, remember that God will have the final word and the final judgement as to whether you had a heart and cared for your neighbor. You will stand before Him one day and He will not be embarrassed. Instead He will say, "Well done, my good and faithful servant."

MY BIG BROTHER REALLY CARES
MY BIG BROTHER REALLY CARES
| Uncle Sam walks the parade in Wellsboro, PA during the Laurel Festival, before the days of social distancing. |
Seven nights of insomnia and I'm ready to scream. I'm not troubled by anything. It's a hormone thing. I've been dealing with it for years. But it has been difficult, this Corona craziness. I can understand how it might cause people to lose sleep, especially those who are watching their businesses circle the drain.
I think this whole thing is filled with deception. Trump is a good president, but he is surrounded by sharks right now. He's not getting good advice. He needs to take control and say this is enough. Evil creeps into every organization eventually and the government is no different. Research the Federal Reserve and how a bunch of selfish rich people took control of our money system if you don't believe there's corruption in government.
Our government allows so many health-harming things into our lives. Are we to believe that they suddenly care about us getting a virus? Do you know that the Lysol you are spraying to kill the virus is toxic to your body. We have government agencies that do nothing to stop thousands of toxic chemicals from being put into our household products, skin care products, shampoo, makeup, etc. The Environmental Working Group has been trying to educate people about this for years. You can find the website at ewg.org
Our government allows FDA-approved drugs on the market that destroy people's lives every day. Hundreds of thousands of people die each year from adverse reactions to FDA-approved prescription drugs taken as directed. Big Pharma is all about money. If it weren't, you wouldn't have to pay $600 for a blood thinner. People still believe the government is looking out for us, but where's the proof? Is the proof in the release of 5G and all the health problems it is causing? Is the proof in our food and all the chemicals that are allowed to be added?
Do some research on the chemicals and food additives that are proven to be toxic to human health and yet they are allowed in our food supply. How many harmful chemicals are you feeding to your children daily? Chemicals that are banned in other countries are allowed to be put into our food, with no question by the FDA. They really care about us. They want us to be healthy and safe.
Do some research on the dangers of GMOs, which have been in our food since 1996. Research glyphosate, the chemical in Roundup weed killer, which you probably will spray in your yard this summer. It has been proven to cause cancer and leukemia, but the government does nothing to warn you or prevent you from using it.
Do some research on chem trails. Research what's really in vaccines and how many people have been messed up from them. The Gardasil vaccine is especially surrounded by controversy. I wouldn't let my daughter get that series of shots. So many young girls have had their lives destroyed by Gardasil. Others are dealing with infertility and many other problems Check out Dr. Eric Z or vaccines.mercola.com or Health Nut News if you want the truth about vaccines. Or go to vaers.hhs.gov if you don't believe that vaccines cause adverse reactions.
The Bible says that "my people suffer for lack of knowledge." Now is the time to arm ourselves with knowledge. We have the time. We don't have a job to go to. Because the government cares about us so much that they would rather see us poor than sick.

MY QUARANTINE CAKE
I've been trying to entertain myself while being off work for two weeks. Trying a new recipe each day is one of my goals. Yesterday, I discovered a winning recipe for Sloppy Joes, which is a favorite dish in my home. I threw out all my other recipes for Sloppy Joes. Even Hubby was impressed and told me to keep the recipe.Check out page 160 of Valerie's Home Cooking if you're interested. Borrow it from a library if you don't want to buy it. Or get a used copy on Amazon Books.
Today I made a winning chocolate cake so moist that it doesn't need icing. It's called 86 Proof Chocolate Cake. The recipe is from Maida Heatter's cookbook, Happiness is Baking. I used vanilla rum for the booze that it called for. And I used melted coconut oil instead of butter because someone in the family is avoiding dairy products. The only thing to note with this recipe is that removing it from a bundt pan is not easy. I greased the pan generously with coconut oil and it still stuck fast. I would probably put it in a regular cake pan next time. And it was perfectly baked at one hour in a bundt pan. The recipe suggested one hour and fifteen minutes.
86 Proof Chocolate Cake
5 oz unsweetened chocolate
2 C sifted cake flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp.salt
1/4 C instant espresso or coffee powder
boiling water
cold water
1/2 C bourbon, rum, cognac or scotch whiskey
2 sticks unsalted butter at room temp.
1 tsp vanilla
2 C sugar
3 large eggs at room temp.
Preheat oven to 325. Butter a 9-inch bundt pan. Heat chocolate on low until melted. Cool slightly.
Sift dry ingredients, except for coffee and sugar. Dissolve coffee in a bit of boiling water (About 1/2 cup).
Add cold water to make 1 1/2 cups. Add bourbon, whiskey, or rum.
Cream butter. Add vanilla and sugar. Beat. Add eggs one at a time. Add chocolate, beat until smooth on low speed. Alternately add dry ingredients in 3 additions and coffee mixture in two additions very gradually. Beat after each addition. Bake one hour or longer if using a bundt pan. Cake is done when it springs back with a quick finger touch.

THE POWER OF VALIDATION
Do you know the degrading feeling you get when you do something to help and someone comes along and bashes your efforts? It hurts...a lot. That is what I'm talking about today--the power of validation. What is validation? It is the recognition and acceptance that someone has feelings and thoughts that are true and real to her, regardless of logic or whether it makes sense to someone else.
To validate is to offer acceptance and feedback about the person's reality in a non-judgemental way--to allow someone to share their thoughts and feelings without your judgement. To do that, we have to first let people know that we respect their perception of the situation in that moment.
Deep down, we all want to be validated and made to feel that what we think, say and do is valuable. We want to know that our presence in a room is valuable and worth noticing. If we don't validate people before we correct them, we risk coming across as condescending and being seen as a bully.
I've been reading a book titled, "The Power of Validation." That's why I decided to write this. I have a lot to say on the subject because of my own experiences. In writing this, I thought of many examples of when I didn't feel validated. But one stands out as a representation of all of them.
I was working as an instructional aide at a local middle school. In between classes, I passed many teachers and always said hello to them. But there was one particular teacher, a woman, who never said Hi back. When she saw me she literally raised her chin, looked straight ahead, and walked past me with no eye contact.
I never before had someone treat me like that and it was so strange. It bothered me a lot. Every day I got the same reaction to my greeting her in the hall. Eventually I gave up on the greetings. I had to surrender. There was no point saying Hello to a stone wall.
My daughter recently shared a conversation she had with someone about validation. She hates it when she walks in a room and says something like, "It's really a nice day out there," and no one responds to her. She needs a response in order to feel validated. But she wasn't feeling that validation from a particular person and she told him about it. He had no idea that his silence was troubling her. In his mind, he just didn't have anything to say back. See how easy it is to make someone feel unvalidated.
According to the book, validation has power because it instills so many things in us that help us to function in life. Validation begins in childhood. A parent who can't validate her child will raise a child who has no self-esteem, can't manage her emotions, can't maintain relationships, has little compassion for herself and others, can't commit to things, and doesn't do well academically. The child will be unhappy and not know why.
Of all those problems that lack of validation can cause, I'm going to focus on self-esteem. If a parent doesn't love a child for who he is, but instead only loves that child for how well he can perform, then the child will forever be trying to win a parent's love through achievements such as doing well in school or perfecting a talent or skill.
A child who is told that he's lazy, worthless, ugly or any other negative word will begin to believe it. But when a child grows up feeling loved and accepted, she is more likely to reach her potential without caring what other people think of her. She can handle criticism and rejection without curling up in a ball and crying.
A strong self-esteem gives us an inner strength that is so necessary in today's world because people have lost their manners. Courtesy is no longer the norm. Kindness is hard to find in classmates and co-workers, the people we spend much of our time with. A strong self image allows us to rise above the negativity and believe we are worthy and capable despite what others might say or do to suggest otherwise.
I credit my dad for teaching me about self-respect and boundaries. He had a serious talk with me one day when I was a teenager. I was allowing a boy to verbally mistreat me and he overheard it. I was embarrassed by my dad's reprimand but knew he was right. I refused to talk to that stupid boy again.
Without self-esteem, we don't have the strength to set boundaries. We become people pleasers and care more about being accepted by others than we care about receiving respect from others. Without self-esteem, we are doormats to be stepped on daily by uncaring people. Consistent validation is what we need as children to become strong adults with a healthy self-esteem.
As I mentioned, a strong self-esteem helps us to set boundaries. I've walked away from abusive relationships because I know my emotional health is worth preserving. I stay away from bullies because I deserve respect. But if I couldn't set boundaries because I grew up lacking validation, then my life would be a mess in so many ways. What parent wouldn't want to give her child validation so that the child has what she needs to survive in the world?
We should value how we feel about ourselves more than we value what other people think or say about us. We have to be free to fill our potential without regard to those who might not approve. When we are easily controlled by others or we allow people to abuse us or take advantage of us, then a low self-esteem is usually part of the problem.
A person with self-esteem won't waste emotional energy trying to do something that doesn't feel right to her. She won't give in just because someone disagrees or because she's afraid of rejection. Receiving validation as we grow up gives us the strength to be true to ourselves and stand up for ourselves.
But you don't have to be a parent and raising a child to put validation into action. Anyone can validate others. All it takes is mindfulness--paying attention in a particular way: on purpose, in the present moment and nonjudgmentally. By being mindful we will see many chances each day to offer validation.
SHOWING APPRECIATION
Too many people are quick to correct and criticize without validating the person's efforts first. If we are going to correct someone, our first sentence should be an appreciation for their efforts. Don't pounce on them with your critique unless you first give that person credit for trying.
GIVE COMPLIMENTS
I recently failed to validate someone when at the end of a very interesting presentation I walked right past the instructor and headed toward the door. I wasn't feeling well but that was no excuse. How much effort would it have taken to make eye contact with him and thank him for the interesting class he just taught? I failed to validate him and I felt bad about it.
VALIDATE ACTIONS
I remember telling someone in my family that what he did took a lot of courage. He did something extreme to better his career and he probably felt uncertain about what the rest of us thought about it. It wasn't a normal thing that people do, but in the end it worked out for him. I remember the look on his face when I gave him that compliment about his courage. It was a look of relief. One person in the family validated his decision and I could tell it meant so much to him.
VALIDATE THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS
We need to be careful about saying things like, "You shouldn't feel that way." We can't make anything better by making light of a situation as if it's not a big deal. "You need to get over it and carry on," is a cruel thing to say to someone who is clearly hurting and struggling with something. A better thing to say is, "I can see that what you're feeling is very real."
VALIDATE THEIR PRESENCE
Intentionally ignoring someone is a form of bullying. Our body language says a lot about how we feel toward people. We can't validate someone when we refuse to turn toward them, refuse to speak to them, or refuse to make eye contact. A mere wave of the hand can make a person feel insignificant. Standing with arms crossed in front sends a message of cold disapproval. Nothing breaks the ice like a smile. Let someone know that you appreciate their presence.
Validation has power. We want our children to be strong, capable adults so we validate them every chance we get. But we also have other opportunities to validate. Everyday we come across people who help us in small ways and we can offer appreciation. The lady at the cash register wears a name tag. Say her name. Thank the mail lady, the bank teller, and tell the restaurant owner that he's doing a good job.
Few things feel better that to have someone validate who you are and what you have to offer. After reading The Power of Validation I have become more mindful of the effect I can have on someone simply by validating their thoughts, their feelings, their actions and their presence in a room.
This is me and my dad on my wedding day. He died years ago, but he had many good qualities and taught me valuable things that have helped me to get through life's challenges. That's the power of a parent's validation.

LET IT BEGIN WITH ME
Someone asked recently if I've been doing any writing lately. I told him that I haven't felt inspired to write. Sharing the written word takes a certain strength and I haven't been feeling it...until today. Maybe God is nudging me. God gives us talent not for our own benefit, but for the benefit of others.
I'm a deep thinker. Sometimes I think way too much. I'm also a deep feeler, which means that I'm easily hurt and I hang on to hurts for way too long. I'm also very perceptive to how other people think and feel.
If someone in a room is feeling troubled, I can instantly sense it. I read facial expressions, body language and tone of voice very well. I have a heightened sensitivity to what others think and feel. Some might call it a gift, but at times I wish I could be less perceptive.
Being tuned-in to other people's feelings and emotions can be stressful. I want to fix the problem when someone is hurting. I jump to defend people and that's not always appreciated.
I'm always asking, "How would I feel if that were me on the receiving end of that?" Call it empathy or compassion, whatever it is, I have it.
But it's not something to brag about. People don't become compassionate without suffering a great deal first. I believe God allows suffering so we can become more sensitive to the burdens that others carry.
I would be a completely different person if I had lived a charmed life with few heartaches and no struggles.
Disappointment, heartbreak, adversity and mental stress--these are things that grow a heart. They make us more like Jesus.
I'm not as perfect as Jesus. Sometimes words come out of my mouth that I wish I could suck back in. I'm not always kind. I can sass back when I feel hurt. But I do try to be sensitive to the way my words land in the hearts of others.
Here's the thing: If I dislike someone, I first need to ask myself if my insecurities are causing the dislike or did that person actually do something hurtful to me? For example, if I feel that I lack certain qualities, it's human nature for me to dislike someone who has those qualities in abundance. But is that a reason to dislike someone? Isn't that envy?
I have to keep my insecurities in check so they don't affect the way I treat others. I have to love myself before I can be good at loving others. I have to fix whatever is making me feel that I don't measure up or that I'm not good enough. If I feel that way about myself, then I'm probably imagining that other people feel that about me too.
It's common for women to dislike what they feel threatened by. "She does everything so well that she makes me look bad." Instead of being happy for that girl, we choose to hate her.
I think envy is at the root of most girl fights. And that is an internal problem that can only be fixed by the envy holder. Envy is a very strong emotion that destroys relationships.
I have a saying on my wall by Emily Freeman:" May we be sensitive to the way our words land in the hearts of others. The only thing I would add to that is this: "And may we be sensitive to the things we believe about ourselves so that no insecurity in us kills our love for others.
Someday we will stand before God and give an account for every idle word we spoke here on earth. And that includes texting and instant messaging. Isn't that a sobering thought?
Here I am thinking again.

Hazards, Myths, and Science of EMFs: Oram Miller Interview Part-1/3 [HD]
Reposting this because I forgot to add comments after watching. Oram Miller says your router and cordless phone base, for example, are always on, so they are like ash trays with burning cigarettes filling the room with smoke.
Martin Black in his book, "Overpowered" did a study on the effects of cell phone transmissions and found that EMFs cause DNA damage and we don't know if the damage if reversible.
Headaches, numbness, tingling, ringing in the ears, brain fog, memory loss are among the problems caused by EMF exposure. Cell phone companies in the US cannot be denied permits based on health concerns alone. Cell towers have been declared part of our national infrastructure, so they are not under local control.
Your plug on your computer needs to be three-prong so it's grounded. An ungrounded computer gives high electric field and can make you tired.
Miller says all smart meters are bad (all digital electricity-reading meters). They all send out a day's worth of data once or twice a day to get your power usage information to the electric company. What they don't tell you is that signals with no data are sent out 24/7 to keep the system healthy. That means a constant EMF exposure on everyone in the home.
Buy a Smart Meter Guard. Miller says they work by reducing rad levels up to 98%. But the electric company will still get a signal and their information. That's how much overkill these meters are producing. Miller says the "smart" grid was named smart to make it sound good to us, but it is a flawed technology that has health consequences.

THREE GENERATIONS OF MOMS
I remember her hands always being busy, either peeling an apple for me or cutting pot pie dough into squares, hanging wash or holding her Bible. She had a kind heart that gave without thinking how it might affect her. Her faith led her to help first and worry about the details later.
I'd like to think that I learned about kindness from my Nana. I have a low tolerance for unkind people and I'll be the first to defend someone who's being bullied. But I try to remember the old saying, "hurting people hurt people."
The dark-haired woman beside my Nana is my mom. Her name is Charlotte. That looks like a knitting needle in her hand. She can create just about anything. Decorated cakes, dresses for us, dolls, quilts, jewelry, curtains, upholstered furniture...the list is ongoing. She's still creating. When I visit her I always ask to see her latest creation.
She turned an old piano into a table. I'm amazed by her creativity. My daughter has that same creative spark. It must have skipped a generation. I can draw, paint and write, but that's about it. I tried to learn knitting, cake decorating and jazzing up old furniture. No success stories to share.
The girl next to my mom is me. I think I'm eating a cookie. I still find cookies comforting. My Nana had a cookie jar that I often had my hands in. I grew up to be a mom of two children- a son and a daughter.
I made a lot of mistakes as a mother, but when I look at my children and their personalities, I realize that I must have done something right. We are hard on ourselves as women. We do a lot of comparing, and we don't see our own good qualities. Most women are far more amazing than they give themselves credit for.
The other girl to the right of the photo is my sister, Dee. My brother, Eric is in the middle. Dee is a talented artist. She has an artist's soul. She feels things deeply and is easily moved. She has one daughter, who inherited her mom's artistic talent.
These are the amazing moms in my family, and it is okay to call yourself AMAZING if you're a mom. Carrying life, giving birth, and raising a child are difficult tasks. No female accomplishment is more impressive to me. Our bodies can grow babies and our hearts teach them to be good people. What contribution is a bigger world changer?
Happy Mother's Day.

LEMON DANDELION COOKIES with lemon essential oil
After making lemon dandelion cookies, I won't think of a dandelion as a weed. These cookies are yummy. Every part of the dandelion is edible including the root. Dandelions are high in vitamin A, B, C, D and K. They contain potassium, zinc and iron. You can make a tea with the root that is very healing as a mild laxative and a digestive aid.
Dandelions help kidneys clean waste, they are high in antioxidants, they help manage cholesterol and boost immune function. Here's the recipe.
1/2 cup coconut oil
1/2 cup agave, honey, maple syrup or sugar
2 eggs
1 cup flour
1 cup oats
1/2 cup dandelion petals (only the yellow flower, no green or stems)
10 -12 drops Young Living lemon essential oil
Bake at 350 on pan well coated with coconut oil for 10-12 min.
Lemon oil is one of 11 oils in the Young Living premium starter kit, which comes with a diffuser. It's great to have on hand for baking or cooking when you need a lemon flavor.

Stop Poisoning the Immune System: Heavy Metal Cleanse
According to this, I have some changes to make. White sugar, white flour, high fructose corn syrup, partially hydrogenated vegetable oils, stress and chemicals in personal care products and home cleaners negatively affect the immune system.
He warns about cooking with aluminum foil and using aluminum containers to cook and store food. I drink seltzer from aluminum cans. I guess I have to look for glass bottles of seltzer. Good luck with that.
He also warns about the curly-q light bulbs that contain mercury gas. If they break they release mercury gas in your home. I knew about that and I don't buy them anymore. I have enough mercury in my mouth from fillings when I was young. I don't need more in my light bulbs.
Well, at least I'm not using toxic makeup, personal care products or toxic home cleaners. I replaced every cleaner in my home with Thieves household cleaner and I either make my own personal care products with essential oils or I buy them from Young Living. And with their new makeup line, I'm slowly switching to non-toxic makeup.
He recommends 3 drops of Young Living Juva Cleanse twice a day and 4 capsuls or two teaspoons of Sulfurzyme (powder) with lime oil and Ninja Red as a heavy metal cleanse.
Since Sulfurzyme is no longer available at YL. We buy MSM sulfur products at herbalhealer.com

DIY Essential Oil & Witch Hazel Room Spray
Air freshener is one of the most toxic products in the home. That includes plug-ins, aerosols, and gels that evaporate over time. I make air freshener in less than a minute.
One of my favorite recipes is one cup of water with 40 drops each of Young Living lavender and eucalyptus. You can add a pinch of salt if you don't have witch hazel. The salt and witch hazel act as both a preservative and an aid for the oils to blend with the water instead of floating on top.

Young Living Diffusers
So many reasons to have a diffuser in your home, and when you get one, you'll wonder how you lived without it. A diffuser creates an atmosphere. What atmosphere do you want? For a spa atmosphere- try eucalyptus and lavender. For a holiday atmosphere- try Christmas Spirit or cinnamon bark, nutmeg, clove and orange for Thanksgiving.
Diffusers support respiratory health. My daughter recently recovered from a serious lung ailment that caused repeated visits to urgent care. It was a scary situation. We ran two diffusers in her bedroom for several weeks. She said they were calming and comforting, and helped her to sleep and breathe.
A diffuser serves as a non-toxic air freshener. You can toss all your canned air fresheners, plug-ins and candles because those things contain toxins that you should not be breathing. You can get asthma or chemical pnemonia from constant exposure to chemicals, especially during winter when your home has no air circulation.

IS WIRELESS WORTH IT?
I'm endangering my health as I write this, and you're endangering your health as you read this. Is that an overstatement? Not really.
Electric and magnetic field frequencies (EMF's) from laptops, cell phones, blue tooth, cordless phones, microwave ovens, computers, tablets, Wi-Fi and other wireless devices are emitting harmful "rads" every time you use them, says Suzanne Somers in her book, Tox-Sick.
These EMF's can alter human biochemistry, resulting in symptoms unique to our generation. There is now evidence that EMF's weaken the blood-brain barrier, allowing toxins in your body to enter your brain, your cells, and your entire body.
EMF's affect red and white blood cells, sleep, insomnia, fertility, fetal development, asthma, Alzheimer's, the immune system, and can cause cancer (brain cancer) as well as other health problems.
In 2011, cell phones were classified as a group B "possible carcinogen". But they've become such a part of our lives that we can't give them up. So what are we to do?
Below is a summary from the video I posted four days ago. I learned a lot from these twenty tips for reducing exposure to EMF's
1. Keep cell phones and wireless devices away from children
2. Don't use wireless devices when pregnant or while breastfeeding.
3. Never bring your cell phone into your bedroom. It interrupts sleep cycles and causes irritation, allergies, heart palpitations, muscle pain and reduces melatonin (your sleep hormone).
(Use a battery-powered alarm clock instead of your cell alarm)
4. Shut off your Wi-Fi when not in use, especially at night when sleeping.
5. Avoid using smart appliances, smart Tv's and thermostats that depend on wireless signaling.
6. Use a large computer monitor as your TV. They don't emit Wi-Fi.
7. Replace your microwave with a steam convection oven.
8. Shut off the electricity to your bedroom at night to reduce electrical fields from the wires in your bedroom walls.
9. Avoid wireless keyboards, trackballs, mice, game systems, printers and portable house phones. Opt for the wired versions
10. Connect your desktop computer to the internet via a wired Ethernet connection and be sure to put your desktop in airplane mode.
11. Don't let children play with I pads or cell phones as a toy.
12. Don't hold a cell phone against your head and keep it away from your major organs. Keep it 3 feet away from your body and use the speaker phone. But using the speaker makes the battery work harder, increasing the radiation levels, so don't put your cell on speaker until the correspondent has answered.
13. Only use your phone when all the signal bars are showing. For each signal bar that's missing, your exposure increases greatly. Avoid using your cell in the basement or underground.
14. Don't use your cell in a parked or moving vehicle. Both of these situations will increase your EMF exposure for different reasons. (Scroll down and watch the video for an explanation).
15. Use an air tube headset instead of a blue tooth. You'll be exposed to less harmful rads.
16. Text instead of talking and hold the cell phone away from your body when you press send.
17. Refuse smart meters as long as you can or add a shield to your existing meter.
18. Move your baby's bed into your room instead of using a wireless baby monitor
19. Replace CFL bulbs with incandescent bulbs. Remove all fluorescent lights from your home.
20. Limit your time on a cell phone. Instead, use VOIP software phones that are used while connected to the internet via a wired connection.

PLASTICS AND CHEMICALS: TOXIC THREAT # 1
In her book, Tox-Sick, Suzanne Somers discusses 6 toxic threats that we need to take seriously. I've been summarizing these threats on this blog, but not in order. Number one on the list is Plastics and other Chemicals.
If you're not concerned about this, then you should know that according to EPA studies, 100% of people tested had dioxins, PCB's dichlorobenzene and xylene in their bodies. Toxins from food, drinks, drugs, chemical-filled products, plastics and the environment bioaccumulate over time, lingering and getting in our fat cells. And people have no idea why they can't lose weight or why they feel so lousy, Somers says.
Skeptics say that the small amount of toxins we're exposed to are harmless, but they're not considering how these chemicals build up over time and contribute to feeling crappy every day or developing a disease after decades of daily exposure.
We put chemicals on our yard to make the grass greener and thicker. Then our children and pets play in the yard and drag chemicals back in the house. Plus these toxins stick on the skin, causing itchiness and rashes, then they eat through the gut lining before making their way to the brain.
We've had an 800% increase in the risk of multiple melanoma since Roundup weed killer came on the scene. A higher rate of brain tumors have been proven among children exposed to certain pesticides on fruits and vegetables. The higher the pesticide level in the body, the slower you burn calories while sleeping. They mess with your insulin level so you can't lose weight, Somers says.
The USDA reports that the nutritional content of American produce has declined significantly since the 1950's when chemical fertilizers and pesticides began their onslaught. Our soil has been degraded. We no longer get vitamins, minerals and needed enzymes from our produce.
The plastic food and beverage containers we use are another toxic threat. Toxin-caused sickness has skyrocketed in the past two decades, Somers says. Allergies asthma, infertility, Parkinson's and its symptoms, bone marrow cancers, lymphomas, leukemias, multiple melanomas, and autoimmune diseases like Hashimoto's thyroiditis and rheumatoid arthritis are linked to the chemical toxicity in our bodies.
This is why I don't allow spray air fresheners, plug-ins or candles in my home (only 100% bees wax candles). It's why I no longer buy toxic cleaning products. None of the products I used five years ago (before I knew better) are in my home anymore.
It makes me angry that these toxic products are allowed on store shelves and anger is a great motivator. We are paying to poison ourselves when we bring these products into our homes and our children suffer the most.

An excellent video about the role of hormones in the body and why hormonal balance is so important. I got my free bottle of Sclaressence through essential rewards in February, when this video was made. Please note that Sclaressence is not this month's ER promotion.
I use 4 drops of Sclaressence on my neck each night diluted with about 1/2 tsp. of evening primrose oil.

WHY YOU NEED A DAILY PROBIOTIC Part 2
If you have any of these problems, you need probiotics daily:
fatigue and low energy
fungal or yeast infection
unexplained weight gain
diarrhea
constipation
frequent urination
stress
anxiety
joint pain
skin problems
blurry vision
brain fog
acid reflux
hemorrhoids
gas/bloating
poor immune function
acne
eczema
rosacea
This list is from the book Tox-Sick by Suzanne Somers. She says that a healthy GI tract is vital to our health. When you heal you gut, the rest of your organs will heal too, including the liver. And when your gut is working well, it's much easier to stay thin.
Dietary fats are most important to gut health. They offer protection for the intestinal wall that keeps the immune system working and aids in eliminating toxins. Without dietary fats, the toxins are free to roam in our bloodstream doing damage throughout the body, Somers says.
Things we don't think about contribute to a damaged gut, such as chlorinated water, over-the-counter and prescription drugs, antibiotics, birth control pills, radiation and chemotherapy, environmental pollutants, food additives, alcohol, tobacco smoke and stress. All of these things kill the good bacteria in the gut.
Probiotics are needed because few of us can avoid the unhealthy additives in our food and the chemicals used in food processing that kill our beneficial bacteria in the gut. This healthy bacteria produce essential vitamins and hormones. A diet of healthy fats, low or no sugar, low or no carbs and a daily probiotic will greatly contribute to healing your gut.
I take Young Living's Life 9 probiotic daily. I know that a good quality probiotic is important, so I don't trust the five dollar gummies at WalMart. Gut health is vital to our overall health and poor gut health can also affect your mood. A good quality probiotic is essenital. Don't go for the cheapest. Do your research and invest in quality. Otherwise you are just wasting your effort and your money.

PROBIOTICS: THE MOST IMPORTANT SUPPLEMENT (PART 1)
Probiotics are the most important supplement you can take, even more important than a multivitamin, says Suzanne Somers in her book, Tox-Sick.
Why?
Health begins and ends in the GI tract. If your gut is inflamed, you can't be healthy. A toxic digestive system will have you fatigued, more prone to disease, and will affect every part of your body--bones, joints, organs, glands, skin, hormones, and even your brain, Somers says.
The entire length of the digestive (GI) tract is coated with a bacterial layer (a mucus). If this bacterial lining gets damaged, you lose the natural barrier that protects against harmful invaders such as undigested food, toxins, and parasites. And 65% of your immune system is in your intestines' bacterial lining. It's like a guard that protects your health and that guard can only protect when it's not damaged.
How does the stomach and intestinal lining get damaged? A poor diet of processed, high sugar, nonorganic foods, pharmaceutical drugs (especially antibiotics and birth control pills), chlorinated water, and the toxins we're exposed to through personal care products and home cleaners all contribute to digestive tract damage by eating away at the protective lining in your gut.
This is why a chemical-free lifestyle is so important. It's why I encourage people to ditch all their toxic cleaners for one bottle of Thieves cleaner, which cleans everything in your home without chemicals. The Thieves premium starter kit gives you every cleaner you need in your home from safe laundry detergent to hand sanitizer. You can find it at the Young Living website or talk to a Young Living representative.
OK, back to the importance of probiotics. Our gut lining also gets shredded from toxic mold exposure, which often resides in the intestines, sinuses, organs and brain. Often the first indicators of Lyme or mold damage are food allergies and food intolerances.
An equal balance of good and bad pathogens are needed for a healthy GI tract. The good gut flora in a good quality probiotic will neutralize toxic substances like nitrates, antibiotics, heavy metals, carcinogens and other poisons.
A damaged gut wall allows viruses, yeast, fungus, bacteria, parasites and toxic substances to leak out and invade the blood stream. This is leaky gut syndrome, which attacks organs and causes bloating, constipation, intestinal pain, brain diseases, autoimmune diseases, eczema, rosacea, and other problems.
I take Young Living's Life 9, a high potency probiotic that promotes natural digestive balance, supports a healthy immune system, and contains nine probiotic strains with 17 billion active cultures. Don't buy the five dollar probiotic gummies at Walmart. Do your research and invest in a good quality probiotic.

GETTING FRIED ON THE GRID
EMF's from wireless devices, cell phones, blue tooth, cordless phones, microwave ovens, computers, laptops, tablets and Wi-Fi have severe biological impacts on your health, says Suzanne Somers in her book Tox-Sick. These devices are emitting harmful "rads" every time you use them.
Electric and magnetic field frequencies may impact Alzheimer's and have effects on the spinal cord, MS, the immune system, and cancer, including brain cancer. EMF's also affect red and white blood cells, sleep, insomnia, fertility, fetal development, and asthma. They also promote obesity, diabetes... and the list goes on, writes Somers about Toxic Threat # 6 from her book.
EMF's can alter human biochemistry, resulting in symptoms unique to our generation. One big source of this "electro-smog" comes from the smart meter installed outside your home by your electric company.
We had a new meter installed this past summer. I heard of neighbors refusing the meters because they knew about the health hazards, but soon the police showed up at their door. Smart meters are on 24/7, 365 days a year. "And in addition to the frequencies they emit, officials had to boost the cell tower's power capacities to be able to read the meters," Somers says.
"An EMF grid covers your entire home once a smart meter is installed, emitting electromagnetic frequencies and radiation all through your home and body nonstop and with no escape," she adds.
EMF's are now being revealed as biological hazards. You can even receive the EMF's radiating from your neighbors' smart meters and get a double dose. Somers suggests refusing smart meters and educating your neighbors about the dangers, but I'm not sure refusal is possible after hearing about my neighbor's run-in with police when he tried.
On page 43 of her book, Tox-Sick, Somers talks about a possible way to filter EMF's and reduce exposure. You can read about it in the book, Paramagnetism: Rediscovering Nature's Secret Force of Growth. Also there are devices that you can wear or insert between your cell phone and its case that protect you from electromagnetic radiation. We just ordered several of these devices. They are called "energy dots." But there are other options as well.
In 2011, after smart meters were installed in Southern California, a pattern of symptoms emerged: migraines, insomnia, heart-palpitations, shortness of breath as well as itching skin and rashes. EMF's can drive your heart out of rhythm and cause you to go into atrial fibrillation, plus they are very toxic and destroy DNA.
Dr. Stephen Sinatra says that he writes letters all the time telling patients to get the smart meters out of their homes because they're having heart problems. Experts now think that EMF's can open up the blood-brain barrier.
So now we have a new toxin to deal with, as if the chemicals in our food, air, and products aren't enough. We don't know anything about the long-term effects of EMF's, but according to the problems that they are already causing, the news can't be good. Going off the grid is starting to look sweet.

TOXIC LITTLE MONSTERS IN YOUR HOME
A ritual for cleansing a diseased home from mold and mildew using equal parts Cedarwood and Hyssop is described in the book of Leviticus. Mold was a problem even in biblical times. Today, toxic black mold can become such an unhealthy invader that people must leave their homes.
In her book, Tox-Sick Suzanne Somers points out 6 toxic threats that we need to take seriously if we want to be healthy. Threat number 3 is Toxic Black Mold. She learned first hand how this home invader can destroy health. She and her family got very sick from a mold infestation. She was even misdiagnosed with cancer, when in fact her body was suffering from mold.
Mold is the new mystery disease. The treatment for mold is essentially the same as the treatment for Lyme disease. Both can have devastating effects on health. A faulty air conditioner can be a source of mold spores. Mold disrupts your immune system and causes an inflammatory response. Both mold and Lyme are often misdiagnosed.
Chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, irritable bowel syndrome, anxiety, and depression are misdiagnosed when instead you may have mold toxicity. The same is true for Lyme disease, which is often misdiagnosed for other ailments.
"Just because you don't see molds in your home doesn't mean you don't have them: they can be hiding, munching away at your drywall, insulation and plywood; these are mold toxin 'happy foods'," says Somers.
"Like little monsters reproducing and wreaking havoc in your body, mold keeps reproducing unless stopped, like mold on your bathroom tile," she adds.
If mold is not cleared from the body once it invades, it can remain in your body indefinitely and cause lifelong problems. Imagine going through life being told you have other ailments and being treated for problems you don't really have, when in fact the real problem is mold.
Vision impairment, unstable temperature, tremors, tics, headaches, muscle aches, difficulty concentrating, brain dysfunction, weight gain, insomnia, unusual pain, are a few of the ways mold toxicity affects people. Some people are misdiagnosed with Parkinson's disease when the problem is actually mold, Somers claims.
Reading her book has made me realize that mold is a serious problem. I recently removed mold from our windows, the shower, and even found some growing on the wall at a spot where a bed was pushed against the wall. I'm constantly sneezing and blowing my nose during winter and I'm sure mold is a culprit.
I use undiluted white vinegar to kill mold. Give the moldy area a good spray and wait 20 minutes. Then I spray the area down with a strong ratio of Thieves household cleaner in a spray bottle. (One ounce Thieves and 14 ounces of water.) I also add essential oils suggested for mold on page 72 of the Quick Reference Guide for Using Essential Oils, which you get free from me as a member of Young Living. wholelifeoils.com/danelle-carvell/
I scrub the area well and sometimes I'll add a soapy homemade cleaner called Triple Threat, which contains castile soap, borax, washing soda and alcohol. Message me for the recipe if you're interested. I have people asking to buy Triple Threat because it works so well as a spot removing cleaner. Sometimes you discover winning recipes when you experiment.
If the problem is Toxic Black Mold, you should get a professional to remove it. You don't want that stuff in your lungs when it gets stirred up. I'll be sharing the other toxic threats from Suzanne's book in future posts, so check back.

CHEMICALS: THE INVISIBLE ENEMY THAT'S MAKING YOU SICK
"So many people are walking around on severe pharmaceutical drugs for conditions they don't even have, given to them by clueless doctors who are just guessing....when in reality they are suffering from toxic overload." - Suzanne Somers from her book, Tox-Sick.
The public has been deceived about the dangers of our daily exposure to more than 6,000 chemicals in food, food containers, plastics, personal care products, home cleaners, furniture, paint, carpeting, flame retardant clothes...the list goes on. The whole story is brilliantly explained in Trade Secrets, a documentary film produced by Bill Moyers.

6 Signs of Hormonal Imbalance
Hormones play an important role in a woman's life. Most women don't realize how important until their hormones are out of wack and they suffer the consequences of this imbalance. Birth control pills and hormone replacement therapy (HRT) are examples of synthetic hormones produced by drug companies. The problem with synthetic estrogen is that it will always have side effects.
Phytoestrogens come from plant sources and can be used by women who need additional estrogen or seek a hormonal balance. Phytoestrogens are milder than a woman's own estrogen and are easily utilized and metabolized by our bodies.
According to Dr. David Stewart, post menopausal women are not estrogen deficient. The problem is a progesterone deficiency. There are several essential oils that have hormonal benefits--anise, fennel, sage, clary sage, blue tansy, tarragon, cypress, myrtle, and wild tansy are among them.
Sage and clary sage have estrogenic qualities. They stimulate the same receptor sites that estrogens do and they help balance a woman's hormones. They may also stimulate a woman's body to produce her own natural estrogens. For more information about using essential oils for hormone balance, read Dr. John Lee's book, What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Menopause.
I took prescription hormone repacement (Jinteli) for two years to help with the unpleasant symptoms of menopause. But I kept searching for a better answer and I found it in essential oils and bio-identical progesterone cream. Young Living's Progessence Plus for added progesterone and Sclaressence for estrogen balance was the answer for me.
Synthetic estrogens are risky, which is why I went off of them. The following sypmtoms can be caused or made made worse by birth control pills and prescription hormone replacement:
acceleration of aging, allergies, breast tenderness, decreased sex drive, depression, fatigue, fibrocystic breasts, foggy thinking, headaches, hypoglycemia, increased risk of strokes, infertility, irritability, memory loss, miscarriage, osteoporosis, premenopausal bone loss, PMS, thyroid dysfunction, uterine cancer, uterine fibroids, water retention, weight gain, gall bladder disease, and a variety of autoimmune disorders such as lupus.
That list is a big risk to take, so it makes sense to try something natural first that has no side effects and see how that works for you before turning to synthetic hormones produced by drug companies.

Introducing Savvy Minerals by Young Living
A line of chemical-free makeup with no health scares. That's a rare thing. Before Savvy Minerals, my only option was one line of cosmetics at Ulta that strived to avoid harsh chemicals in their products.
At 55, I need makeup to feel better. Most women look better with at least a touch of makeup. But I don't want my health to suffer for the sake of beauty.
I can actually feel the difference between a chemical liquid foundation and a natural one. My skin doesn't feel like I'm wearing a mask, it feels nourished and moisturized with no irritation. And I just feel better knowing that toxic chemicals aren't laying on my skin and being pulled into my blood stream.
Click on the link below and explore the Young Living website as a retail customer if you're not ready to commit to membership. You'll find it just below my photo and bio, and you don't have to purchase anything after signing in. The only way you'll order something is if you give credit card information and hit that final purchase button.
For now, just explore all the toxin-free products for your home. I'm so grateful for companies like Young Living. They care about the health of their customers.

BREATHING PLASTIC
When I worked in a daycare, I was in charge of a small room with no ventilation and about 4 young children to care for. On the wall was an air freshening canister that shot out a toxic spray every 15 minutes. Those babies were breathing plastic as they slept. When I finally said something because I couldn't handle the constant headaches, she was nice about it and told me I could turn it off. But I did get the feeling that she thought I was a nut.
This week at work, I had to cover my nose or hold my breath every time I went into the bathroom. I noticed the canister on the wall just like at the daycare. I was told that one of my co-workers had brought a vanilla scented air freshener for the bathroom and that's what I was smelling. I could literally feel the headache coming on within the short time that I was in there. Later I could smell it wafting into my work area as people opened the bathroom door.
I want to put an essential oils diffuser in the bathroom or provide one of my homemade essential oil infused freshening sprays. These subjects are difficult to bring up because whoever brought the vanilla-scented spray could easily be offended, but I really don't want to breathe plastic. I don't want to get a headache every time I go in there.
People who are sensitive to chemicals can tell in an instant if a cleaning product is toxic. I used to get a headache from the toxic floor cleaner at the daycare. I wish there were an easy way to make people understand how bad these chemical- filled products are for their health. And children are affected even more. Nature provided us with wonderfully-scented, pure plant oils and we ignore them and reach for toxic chemicals instead.
A diffuser in your home eliminates the need for toxic air fresheners. And you can easily make freshening sprays for fabric/sheets/carpet with essential oils. I share my recipes with Young Living members who sign up at the link below. A membership with Young Living is the smartest way to have a chemical-free home. All of their products are safe, even for children.

Emotional Support with Essential Oils: Why I use them and YOU should too!
Essential oils are tools that help your brain walk through life's stressful situations. Even if you don't acknowledge stress, your body still has to deal with it. Stuffing everything inside and saying nothing doesn't make it go away. I ignored a stressful situation for years and it affected me mentally and physically. I reached a point where I had to confront it for my own peace of mind.
Our brains are constantly analyzing our environment. The nervous system, our emotional center, is the only system in the body that never shuts off. Constant energy flows through the brain , and if our emotions are troubled, that will trickle down and negatively affect every other system in the body. Muscles will tense, sleep can be affected, blood pressure will rise, we just won't feel well physically or mentally.
Essential oils help the body handle stress by supporting the emotional center of the brain and helping the brain process the stress, so that you can work through it. Come in at 4 minutes to get right to the good stuff in this video.

Dr. Mercola Interviews Suzanne Somers (Full Interview)
Suzanne Somers is a wealth of knowledge about natural health. After reading her book, Knockout, I almost don't fear cancer. She wrote 26 books and perhaps is best known for her promotion of bio-identical hormones, which I use myself and have become a believer of their benefits.
Suzanne beat breast cancer without chemotherapy and regrew her breasts with her own stomach fat and her own stem cells. I never heard of such a thing before this interview. She also was misdiagnosed with cancer when she actually had a black mold infestation in her body. How many others are misdiagnosed?
Somers confirms my own recent statement that 95% of all cancers are caused by poor diet and a toxic environment. She deeply regrets being talked into radiation because it kills the body's ability to produce hydrochloric acid for life. She takes 3 hydrochloric acid capsules a day to compensate.
This interview covers so many health warnings--the dangers of birth control pills, the drugging of kids with ADD and ADHD, and the importance of taking good-quality supplements. She talks about leaky gut syndrome and well explains what it is. Many cancers and autoimmune diseases originate in the GI tract. Eighty percent of our immune system is in the gut.
We must learn how to read our bodies and keep ourselves in perfect balance, Somers says. That means accepting that we live in a toxic world and educating ourselves, cleaning up our lives and our overloaded livers so we can regain our health. We should be counting chemicals instead of counting calories.
Somers is not anti-pharmaceutical, she simply believes (like I do) that we should look for a natural solution first, because drugs have side effects that will throw something else off and cause a different problem. She warns us of the damage that chemicals do when we clean with them, spray them in the air and slather them on our bodies.
Almost everything she warns about makes me realize how wise I was to join a company that offers chemical-free home products. We are in control of our health, our environment, and our happiness. I guarantee there is something in this interview that will shock you or inspire you to make changes...probably both, and probably many things. Set aside an hour to listen to her wisdom.
